Camera is definitely more clear than 9th gen. Other than that, everything else seems the same to me. The camera is on the side and I'm not a big fan of it but I've also gotten used to it. I don't use it much for anything else other than videocalls and music. I can't really tell the difference with the sound quality either if I'm comparing it to the 9th gen.

At this price, it's hard to pass up this iPad for most people's use cases. While it doesn't have a laminated screen, glare can be reduced with a matte screen protector.
