This device allows me to walk outside on the patio and control music via Bluetooth. Range is okay- I’d say about 15ft. No complaints other than the range, although this could be because there is an exterior wall separating the device and my phone.

I was about to return it, but decided to try their cord even though it was thinner. This worked. However, wiggling it the least bit brought back the static. I suspect the plug doesn't precisely fit the socket. My application does not require moving the adapter, so I'll keep it. Pairing and use are easy and effective.
