They claim a shiny thing and get it home and it’s dull. It’s a super great concept but its just not there yet in technology. The V8 barely lasts 30 minutes and if you put it on boost setting your charge goes down to 10 and your hand burns hot from the motor. The only reason i have it at 3 is that it’s soooooooo convenient. Extremely over priced for what you get.

Posted .Hello there, this is Kelly with Dyson. I'm sorry to hear that you've encountered a short run time with your Dyson V8 Absolute. Your vacuum will come with standard and Max power modes. Our cordless models also have a run-time enhancing light touch trigger which ensures battery power is only used when the trigger is pushed. The total run time will be up to 40 minutes.
In Max power run time will be up to 7 minutes, and in standard power, you can expect run times of up to 30-40 minutes depending on which tool or attachments you are using.
