This is my 4th Braun razor in 30 years, so the quality is there. The saving head is very comfortable.

Great looking product. The auto cleaner does a much better job than the piece of junk Panasonic I had previously. I do feel I have to work at getting a few hairs each shave. It could be user error since I had a rotary shaver previously and this is a foil.

I am not the end user of this shaver but my son tells me it does not give a good close shave and that he prefers to use a traditional razor. He expected better results from such a costly electric razor!

One of my friends recommended the Brown shaver. I read about it and I thought that this will help me get ready for every day work faster. I have tried the dry shaving method and the wet shaving method (using shaving cream), but the time required for shaving went up from 2 minutes to about 10. The end product looks worse than just shaving using a razor. I asked my wife about her opinion and she told me that she didn't like it very much. Unfortunately I was out of the return time frame, so I am stuck with it now. I have tried dry shaving before showering, after shower, wet shaving after a shower, but still it doesn't look too good. I end up shaving with a razor to finish up the lower neck area almost every time.

I had the shaver for less then two years and it did start messing up on me, I did the Geek Squad 2 year protection and was able to return it and get a brand new one for a small price, so awesome!

My old Brain was over 10!years old but still working well. Lost the charger so I decided to upgrade. This is my old razor plus! Very happy with the pivoting head

So, I bought this razor as the deal of the day, so I played just shy of $200 for it. Let me tell you, it's not worth that. I had a Phillip's norelco, a cheap one, that I used for 10 years. Only reason I traded it in was because I didn't want to buy new blades for it. So I picked this Braun up after reading all the reviews and feeling confident. It's cool, its shiny, it "cleans" itself. But it shaves averagely. My 10 year old Phillip's norelco shaves closer than this braun. That's saying something. The cleaning pods are (although not much) just an added constant expense. I highly recommend you look else where, unless you just have money to spend.

I have sensitive skin, especially around the neck area. This product still irritated my skin, and I followed the guidelines by shaving at a 90 degree angle, not pressing too tightly or swiftly against the skin, etc. Maintenance of cleaning the cartridge is also a huge pain. On top of all this, unless you want a light shade/stubble to remain, you want to shave wet using added product. There's a certain product with 5 blades that heats up. I recommend that one. Otherwise, stick with a straight edge. Unless you won't miss having a close or clean shave.

Purchased this for my husband for a Christmas gift. Hes happy with it so makes me happy!

What else can be said...it's a Braun, wanted and got the best!

I went to the extremes to figure out how to write this review… $300 razor that sits on my counter. I won’t even use it to travel. My 10year old Panasonic works wonders compared to this thing. Does not cut close at all, the trimmer portion is awkward and doesn’t work well either. Unfortunately I tried this for a few months and decided it was junk after the return period

Decent product, for the price if you shave like once in a week a good product

Works very well for it's purpose, but had it fail and need service 3 times each time missing for 4-6 weeks.
