Really convenient and does a good job. Good on hardwood and carpet. Does seem to fill up quickly to the full line. However the emptying is really easy, you pull the handle and everything dumps out into the trash. Make sure it’s completely over the trash because the first time I emptied it, I got half of it back on the floor lol. Only reason this isn’t 5 stars is my wife won’t use it because she said it gave her blisters from the pistol style grip. I don’t know about that but who knows.

The Dyson Vi Animal Cordless has a great run time. I like the better capacity so there is less dumping and cleaning during vacuuming. I like the larger vacuum head when cleaning my floors, plus all the extra attachments for all the smaller or more delicate jobs one may need to do. I am very impressed by this model and do recommend it for others.

The main reason for getting the Dyson V8 was to be able to quickly clean hardwood floors of dog hair. It doesn't disappoint. It picks up great and I can clean the whole downstairs and still have plenty of battery life to tackle the couches. The only negative is the first one I bought stopping working after just one day. Best Buy was able to get me a replacement the next day. So I'm hoping that was just a fluke,

I purchased this because the video literally shows and says it can bend to get underneath furniture and it doesn’t. Good vaccum aside from that.
