The vacuum itself works amazing, but for the high price I hate that it doesn't stand up on its own (top heavy) and the fact that it doesn't have an on/off switch, you gave to hold the button the entire time you are using it. I used it for the first time for 5-10 mins which resulted in a blister on my thumb...not looking forward to that with every single use.

I like the vacuum and its size. However i dont like how quickly the battery dies nor do i like that you have to hold the trigger the entire time while vacuuming.

I'm happy with the purchase. The battery life is fine for what we use it for. We always set the suction power to max which drains the battery faster but we only use it for several minutes at a time so haven't run into battery issues yet. Because it is cordless, clean up is much easier and faster than our old corded handheld vacuum.

These Dyson's are beasts! nothing can compare. just hate the battery life when you have it set to the max, would be nice if it could be plugged in while using that way you get more time

This was an unbelievable waste of money. I can't believe spending over $500 on a vacuum leads to under 2 cumulative hours of use before the battery is totally shot. Literally under 2 total hours of runtime and I'm back to the old dustpan and broom option. Please buy something different and don't fall for this nonsense product.

We have a golden retriever and a husky. Does a great job getting an our entire 1000sqft condo and has battery left to switch to the handheld, and use the beater bar on the couches. This is the second one we've bought, one for us, one for my parents now.

The Dyson Stick vacuum was so easy to assemble and so easy to use that I have recommended it to friends and family. My home is mostly tile with some carpeting...it is great for both. The sale price made it a no brainer decision. Very happy with it.

This thing works like a dream. My only complaint is you have to hold the trigger down the whole time you use it versus just being able to turn it on and go. The battery life isn't the greatest, but it has enough juice to clean my whole downstairs area.

Cannot get the canister to open in order to empty it. I have already called the Dyson help line once, and they thought I had it too full at the time. However, it will not open for me AT ALL, and I know for sure it is NOT too full. I will try the help line one more time. I am VERY disappointed in this product so far.

Very happy with this purchase. Great for hard floors. If you're used to your animal you'll notice this vacuum requires a bit more push to use of carpet. Overall, great purchase...but know on thicker carpets it can be a bit tough to push.

I am fairly satisfied with this vacuum. I do feel like it cleans very well, but the battery life is awful.

Best vacuum ever purchased charging the battery is quick and using the vacuum is very easy. I highly recommend it for anyone clean their car or multiple rooms in their house is very quick and efficiently

We recently purchased a cordless Dyson vacuum [our 1st Dyson purchase]. Because of the name, we thought we would give it a try. The box said that the charge would last 40 minutes - enough to do the majority of our house. It lasted 15 minutes. Worst - it takes 4 hours to re-charge it. Needless to say, I returned it to Best Buy. I was going to exchange it for an electric Dyson vacuum, but BB doesn't carry them. Hello Sam's next door....they do. It has great suction power, and lasts as long as I want it to, Really like it. When we went back to BB and was looking for the electric model, a couple was about to buy the cordless Dyson. We let them know our experience and not to waste their money on it.

Much better than my older Dyson stick vacuum. Works well on pet hair and has useful attachments. Only downside is that the latch to open the waste bin is a bit tricky.

My new Doberman has started sleeping in my bed. She sheds very short hairs that were driving me crazy. I tried sticky pads, but they did not work. Broke down and bought this and it works perfectly! Picks up all the hairs with one pass. I use the short attachment and vacuum before I make the bed, and the hairs are gone! I have used it in the rest of the house as well, but having to hold the “trigger” to keep it running is hard for my hands (I have arthritis). For older people, I wouldn’t recommend it as the only vacuum for the house. But it is perfect for my intended use on the bed and am very happy with it!

I love this vacuum = no cord so a lot of freedom when vacuuming and suction is very good for battery powered machine ! BUT: it only runs for about 15 minutes using the floor roller attachment (on energy saving mode) and the handle is very hard on the trigger finger and thumb.

This is our 3rd cordless stick vacuum, first Dyson though. All the others were constantly getting tangled on the beater bar. We have a cat and a dog and I use my Dyson almost everyday. LOVE it!! It is great for pet owners, worth the extra money we paid.
