Great vacuum! It’s kind of fun using it, even my husband uses it regularly. We have a Bernese mountain dog so there is always hair that needs to be vacuumed. Not having to plug in a cord is a game changer, we just grab the cordless Dyson. Picks up dirt & hair from hardwood & carpet well. Wish it held a charge a little longer, I would consider getting the v10 if I ever need to replace this one since it holds a longer charge.

It is a nice little thing for pick up. It works well. My issue is that the battery runs out too fast. I do not like that.

Have two large, shedding dogs. This is our new best friend. Amazing quality only Dyson can deliver. Cuts vacuuming time in half. Fun to use and easy to clean. Well worth every penny!

Easy to use and it goes where larger vacuums won't. Battery life is OK, not great, but it recharges quickly.

Strong and portable vacuum. Works great for cleaning my carpet and hardwood floor as well as my car. Battery has a decent battery life.

Nice and easy to get under furniture. Easy to clean out. All of the weight is in the handle so does get heavy if using for any length of time but for quick clean up, it is a great one to use.

Very pricey. Battery life is only10-15 minutes, not 40min.

I have two big hairy dogs. This vacuum does a fabulous job of sucking up all of the dog hair. We have mixed floors (tile, wood and carpets) and the vacuum has no issues going from one surface to another.

Love this cordless wonder. Really grabs dirt. Can't wait to get to the carpet on my stairs. That has always been the toughest job for me but with the small attachment even this old lady will be successful.

Universal with great suction! I have 2 small boys, a dog, and guinea pig... let’s say messes are a constant thing around here... and this vacuum takes care of it all! Even in my car.

Doesn’t have a trigger hold button. Once you release vacuum trigger vacuum stop running. Also, because the vacuum is top heavy, you must lay it down if you need to move furniture etc.

I use this fantastic cordless vacuum for touch ups every day! It is lightweight and easy to use. I have a sweet dog who sheds so it is handy to grab this to keep up with dog hair.

this is honestly the best vacuum I've ever had. We have pets and its great for the fur...only issue is the battery life I wish it was a little longer between charges

never had i met such a qualified vacuum cleaner in my life. yes the battery life may be a bit shorter than desired but there's a power saver mode and who even wants to clean for a long time?

We love it. It's super portable. Finally not worrying about the trailing cord. Emptying takes a little practice but is simple.

Words can no describe how much I love my new vacuum! I have a large shedding dog and now I can vacuum my whole house, hardwoods and carpet in one shot. I put my broom in my garage after I got this vacuum and haven't used it since. I really enjoy vacuuming now and having a vacuum that does clog and picks up everything on the floors. Well worth the investment. Plus, Best Buy price matched Amazon and I got it $100 cheaper than it was listed for. They have such great customer service everytime I use them, Thanks Best Buy!

I'm a new convert to stick vacuums after purchasing the Dyson V8. I've owned uprights from Dyson for as long as I can remember and loved them. I tried other brands but nothing compared to a Dyson. I can confidently say that the stick vacuum is just as good if not better. The only reason why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was because of the battery life and how I wished I had purchased the V10 model. But that was my mistake.
