This is quite simply one of the best most portable vacuums I've ever tried, period. Having owned a number of vacuums, from the canister style, to the uprights, and to the bag-less uprights I have to say this beats them all for a good number of reasons. 1. Probably most important, this vacuum though it's small and light has a surprisingly strong amount of suction which can be controlled to either a high or low setting based on what's appropriate for the floor you're cleaning. 2. Just about as important as the first point, both the small and large heads are motorized - a huge improvement over others similar to this one. 3. It's battery life so far seems perfect for cleaning 4-5 average size rooms, and a couple hallways with either hard wood or carpet floors. In fact, I've not yet run it completely dead with cleaning 3 bedrooms, a hallway, stairs, a hardwood floor dining room and hallway with rugs. Granted, I wasn't running it on the "high" setting the whole time (only on the heavy carpets in the 3 rooms) so your mileage may vary based on how you use it. 4. It's light, in fact surprisingly light considering the power and battery life it has which makes it perfect for quick daily touch up cleaning so you really don't ever need to dig out the good ole canister vac ever again except for the occasional deep cleans. 5. The convenient wall mount is perfect so it's always ready to go when you need it and keeps it neatly organized put away. 6. The canister is SO easy to clean and doesn't make a mess. Simply pull the lever while over a waste bin and it's emptied. Then close it and close the bottom. The only thing that I've had issues with is vacuuming lightweight rugs where it'll just hold on to it... but you'd have the same problem with any other good vacuum that has good suction so not really a bad thing! While it feels built well and out of good materials, I do worry about long term durability considering it's made of lightweight plastic and aluminum. So, I'd say it would very likely not hold up to well against falls on a hard floor like tile or wood and I'm not sure how well it'd hold up around the kids if they were to get a hold of it. On that note, and outside of that, this is a fantastic machine and I'd recommend it to anyone that's in the market for a new vacuum and wants something that makes it easy to stay on top of keeping all of your floors clean.

We upgraded from an older model that we really liked. But, this one is so much smoother and better at cleaning carpet in particular.

Definitely a good investment when you have 3 toddlers running around!

Upgraded from the Dyson V6 and there's a lot of improvement to the features on this vacuum. The extra battery life is great too!!

I’ve always had Kenmore canister vacs but was intrigued by the light weight and the separate handheld for couch and stairs. I have a dog and I like the beater handheld brush.. But In order to work correctly I had it on high speed and the battery runs out after 8 mins or so. I’m going to keep it as I bought it on sale.. but wouldn’t recommend this

this product lives up to it’s worth. Dyson for the win again! This works perfectly for the house or the car. Well worth the money.

I was hoping to buy it cheap but it wasn't on sale but I really do like the product.

Picks up dirt and debri and runs quite awhile on full charge. The option of two speeds at the push of a button is a nice touch as well.

Great roller my only gripe is when it’s dry I have received shocks from the static electricity build up. With my dog it’s very handy, though, and would still recommend.

Having two dogs and a cat, it wasn’t easy to keep the house clean. This vacuum cleaner is the best for households with pets!!!

You can look at this vacuum two ways, as a second vacuum or as your only vacuum. If you buy this as a second vacuum for the most part I think you'll be happy, if you buy it as your primary vacuum I don't think you will! First the good: lightweight, no cord to worry about, easy to clean, relatively quiet on the low setting, go anywhere versatility. The bad: Battery life , small capacity, expensive, loud on high. This vacuum is a mixed bag for me, because it's limited battery life even switching between high and low when vacuuming all I could muster was about 20 minutes. I wasn't able to fully clean a relatively small house (1300 sq. Feet) on a single charge. The suction power for carpet is best when used on the high setting when using the powered head. If Dyson provided an extra battery and made it swappable this could easily be a 5 star product, I really don't understand why they don't make it like that. With that said it is really a 3 1/2 star product for its limited battery life, and the price. Even if money is no object this glaring omission of not making this with a user replaceable battery like cordless drills and such is a huge over sight. So on this part alone it's hard to recommend this product as a primary vacuum, and given the price that's what a lot of people would buy it for. If you buy this as a second vacuum, for a quick pick up or for the cordless benefit to go where a corded vacuum can't I think you'll be happy.

Bought it for my new home. Thought it would be quieter but its pretty loud. Other than that this product is pretty great.
