Efficient and lightweight laptop. The only cons I have are that the USB-C port is a little annoying. I would have to purchase other products in order to use my other usb related items.

So far the best laptop I owned it’s fast reliable and download speed incredibly faster then any laptop I owned. My first time ownin a Mac and I don’t regrets it . So many functions for recovery just in case something goes wrong it’s just superb . Even though I haven’t had any problems but it’s good to have features. Overall it’s a must have.

The MacBook Air is absolutely perfect for someone like me looking to record music and get the maximum usage from my electric instruments. Id recommend this to anyone looking for a great low cost laptop that will solve all of your needs

Love it! This is a great lab top. I really like the size and weight of it as well as the quality it provides.

The M1 chip is fantastic. The battery life is amazing. Great keyboard and speakers. As always a solid screen. The Bezels need to be slimmed down a bit and for some reason this machine does not run Chrome as smoothly as Chromebooks (obviously) and Windows PC's. But overall solid and dependable!

Big upgrade over the prior MacBook Air. Fast processor, lots of memory, easy to transport. Just what I needed.

This is the third MacBook with the low end specs. MacBooks have always been for me a great value and this one is the best one yet. This is great for anything you can do in a browser and just right for writing papers etc. Office apps work great. If you want to work on demanding apps like Photoshop, heavy Excel work or high end games this will want to get a MacBook Pro or Windows laptop.

I should have switched from my dinosaur Dell to a MacBook a long time ago. They don’t compare. It’s like having my iPhone in a laptop form. The customer service was incredible. The man on the phone was very patient while my bank was having issues about the purchase. I plan to never use anything but a Mac again

The new M1 is all about speed and efficiency. Everything is snappy in the new Big Sur MacOS and it really does feel like you're getting speed that we've been accustomed to on our everyday mobile devices. I think that my expectations were unreasonably high as YouTube reviewers were showing test running intensive applications for photo and video editing and made it seem like the Air could be a full on replacement for intel-based MacBook Pro's. While this is true in small limited tests, I found that in everyday use it could get sluggish here and there when running Adobe's graphic design programs like Adobe XD and Illustrator. This is where maybe the 16GB of RAM option would have been a better buy and make the Air and MacBook Pro comparable. So all in all, I think that if you're just looking for a reliable replacement for an everyday computer the Air is a great option and it blows away the intel-based versions. But as an workhorse laptop for heavy content creation, the 8GB RAM option won't cut it and you'll be kicking yourself for not getting the 16GBs or going up the the MacBook Pro.
