It replaces a 5 year old 12 in MacBook with an Intel m3 processor and the same storage density as the M1 Air. The transition was flawless using Migration Assistant with the two computers side by side. The biggest differences are: the display is much better as well as the keyboard and the battery life is astounding. Could not resist the pre Black Friday pricing and could not be more pleased.

I never owed a MacBook before and I had been wanting one for sooo long just never took the leap to buy it. Well I should’ve done some more research because the only reason I returned it was because of the camera quality. So I got the M2 instead lol

I'll always be an Apple customer. I recently replaced my MacBook Air with a new model. I just took for granted the features would be duplicated plus anything new Apple brought to this model. NO SUCH LUCK! In fact, I don't even have a USB port! I need to buy an accessory that will give me this ability to hook up my scanner, etc. Very disappointing as it seems Apple is always looking for a way to force additional purchases. Not impressed.

This MacBook Air is an amazing device. Although it was only the base model, I was able to run Adobe Creative Cloud apps like Illustrator, Premiere Pro, etc. Editing video was smooth and exports were good. (Note: I was using 1080p footage from my Nikon D5600 DSLR.) If I were to buy an M1 Air again, I would upgrade to the 16GB RAM and 1TB SSD, otherwise I would just get a MacBook Pro which includes additional useful ports for creatives! Overall a great piece of tech!
