I am sorry to hear you are having an issue using your Logitech PRO 4K webcam. The camera should be connected to the computer directly and not the monitor. Also, go into the application settings you are trying to use with the camera and choose the PRO webcam as your video capture device. Posted .Hello Nick. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with the 4K Pro Webcam. The webcam features a removable mount that reveals a standard tripod mount underneath. With the clip, the webcam is locked in a forward position, but if you take that off, you can put it on any tripod and have full range of motion.

Posted .Hello. I'm sorry to hear that you're not happy with your 4K webcam. There are a couple things that could be causing this issue: 1. If you have not yet, please download and install Logitech Capture on your computer. It will make sure your firmware is up to date and also give you a lot of customization options for your webcam. 2. If you have the USB plugged into a USB hub, please plug it directly into the computer. 4K is a lot of data being transmitted and every additional connection will degrade the quality of your image. If this is still not helping, please contact our support team at support.logi.com

What you might be experiencing is only what your monitor can handle. You'd need a monitor that can handle 4K output, otherwise it will resort to the next highest capability, being 1080p.

I've been so curious about this camera for so long--the local Best Buy near me is ALWAYS sold out of this camera! I just got a 4k monitor and decided that I might as well start amassing 4k equipment (wanted to wait a bit but I think it's been long enough!). The quality improvement is definitely noticeable--the video comes through so nicely and looks very good. Plus the camera came with a lot of useful components so moving it and setting it to stand up in different places when I travel is very easy to do. The quality of the camera is, as all Logitech items and especially cameras are, very good. And since this is one of their best cameras, you can bet that it is very VERY good. I am super happy with the camera!

It has a little LED light that shines on you while it is on. I didn't read the instructions, and had no issues connecting it to my computer 3 minutes before a zoom call (not recommended, but there you go.)

Basically plug and play with some customization if you download the Logitech Software, but not necessary. I use it for Microsoft Teams for remote work and it does the job.
