    I had never tried the optical audio tech before this cable. Cannot say how this one rates against others. However, the picture and sound quality are both better than merely acceptable. Could it be the cables?

    Great optical cable, just make sure to remove the tips when plug it in, because otherwise it will not work.

    I had difficulty setting it up. The connectors wouldn’t fit. I checked the instructions on the which said plug in. I resorted to looking all around Google and finally discovered the clear plastic ends were protectors and needed to be removed before plugging in. It should have been indicated in the instructions. All works well!
