    Keeps my sound bar connected to the TV without having to constantly open the settings on the TV to connect to the speaker via Bluetooth. Does not allow for audio control with the TV remote though, had to dig out the remote for the sound bar again.

    Exactly what I needed. Optical cables either work or they don't. These work just fine. Was able to snake them from my tv, through the wall, and into my receiver with some room to spare.
