    I purchased a new smart TV but needed a solution to connect the sound with some older tech. This cable did the trick and now I have great sound in my "Drum Room" where I can play along with all the greats on You Tube.

    I bought this cable to connect a Samsung TV to a Samsung sound bar. It's an optical cable, it works, what else is there to say? For everyday purposes this is a fairly priced cable and construction seems solid. Owners of high-end systems may want to buy something more exotic, but I don't see the need.

    This cable works well as designed. I have purchased other brands of optical in the past and they didn’t stay plugged in well with any weight or cable hang to them. This one stay put well.

    Hdmi would've worked the best with the new system we have, but these worked great as well. Got a new sound bar and sub and no extra hdmi outputs, but this worked just as well.
