    Very simple cable design; the instructions do not cover this, but there are little rubber covers on the tips that are supposed to be removed before use.

    It works! Once i had the settings on the TV configured the soundbar and TV connection was great. Better than dealing with the bluetooth.

    The directions do not tell the purchaser to remove the small plastic covers at both ends of the cable. I kept trying to insert the ends of the cable into the receptacle without the knowledge of the covers' existence but the ends wouldn't fit. After searching on the internet, I finally discovered that the ends had plastic covers that needed to be removed first.
