Also the default cable that came with the speakers was short for this was a best buy no pun intended since I switched to optical audio for better sound overall and more slack for placement.

This cable was used to connect TV to sound bar. Wife claims music sounds better. I could not hear the difference. Wife is happy, which is all that matters!
