    This iPad replaces a first generation iPad Mini I own. Seems to be Apple's entry level iPad (price and performance wise). Having had Apple products for over 20 years I find the newer models overly overpriced. Even an iPad Mini is more expensive than this model. Function wise is no more not less that what I expected from this unit. I can not see any significant differences between this model and my older iPad Mini - other than that the older Mini is obsolete, can not have the software nor apps updated and runs extremely slow. In conclusion, if this is an example of the performance and features of the rest of the iPad lineup I'd stay with this one even with the anemic capacity.
