You are getting the same cpu/gpu, and amazing screen, for very competitive price. For Christmas I got my mom the $320 iPad 10" who never has had a iPad before. She loves it, when setting hers up, I could tell a big difference between the Air and norm model. Screen looks sharper, cpu/gpu is snappier, feel is better, support for apple pen to write / change music in Fourscore.

It has basically replaced the need for a laptop or desktop computer. I can use it anywhere on the go very quickly!!! I would strongly recommend this product for anyone that wants a portable device that can do basically anything a laptop or cell phone can do! Worth getting the Apple Pencil and the keyboard case as well.

She handwrites notes with ease, can take PDFs from her professors' notes and add her own notations to it, record their voice while she is taking notes. She feels that this has sped up her ability to take effective notes in class. She's convinced my wife to get one for teaching now!!!

I was debating between this and the pro 12.9. I wanted the larger screen but thought this price point was more attractive. Great resolution on the screen, no HDR though which is pretty lame. Battery life is solid and can handle a couple days of heavy use on a charge. Apple Pencil+magic keyboard is a must have! Overall very satisfied with the product!
