HDCP protection is in full effect still so using a fire stick or some other device like that connected to a capture card(like elgato) it will not display. Not a huge problem. Only other complaint is that the LED's are very distracting when watching a movie in the dark.

I was switching back and forth and I knew this would eventually wear down the connectors and this item prevented the eventual connector fail. simple plug and play.

I have an HDMI cable snaked through my walls to my kitchen (across the house from the bedroom satellite) and this allows me to have a feed to a 2nd TV so I can do laundry, cook, and put away clothes without having to pause the program.
