Works well with fob provided. The phone app is hit and miss, most attempts to start or unlock the car fail first attempt but will eventually work after multiple attempts.

It's great not having to go out in the cold to start my car and leaving it vulnerable to theft. I do wish it wasn't such a process on the front side though. Car is manual transmission so you have to do a whole song and dance each time you are turning it off. Other than the minor inconvenience though it's good.

I love the fact that I can use my phone to start the car. Also, I don't have to worry about range and the best part is that the factory alarm is improved since it sends notifications to your phone at the time it is triggered.

Am able to start my car securely until its toasty.

I've had the starter going on two months and so far so good. My only draw back is that sometimes after stepping on the break to shift into gear the vehicle shuts off.

The staff in the mobile geek squad was fantastic. I had a little trouble with my remote button and the staff was excellent

Bought this Viper remote start kit for my mother’s 2017 Subaru Forester. Best Buy website shows that it’s compatible. So she schedules the appointment In Dickson city, Pa. The technician claimed the product was bad from stock, ordered a new unit and set the next appointment date.. The same technician attempted the install once again. Claiming the remote start would not sync to the vehicle this time. Without even asking my mother he returned and refunded the order. I contacted Viper tech support about the excuse the Best Buy technician gave “it would not sync” and the answer I got was “I never heard of that problem before. I am extremely disappointed with Best Buy. I expected more professionalism and customer satisfaction. My mother even said she would have tried taking it to a different Best Buy because she was impressed with the technician at the Dickson city location, but he did not give her a choice in the matter.

I PURCHASED THE ITEM I went to the store to get. I will not know of my overall experience until the item is installed on Jan 25th.

Product is working as expected. Onlu down side is only one remote.

I am very aware of the Viper brand and was looking forward to having this remote start in my car. I was assured that this unit goes with my car, but when I made the appointment to have it installed, it turns out that my car is incompatible with it and I had to purchase 2 more accessories which totaled to $120 to have this installed. I instead chose to return the item. Please make sure to do your research to find out if it goes to your car and if you need to purchase additional accessories to make it work.

Thought it was great deal for the price. But over the last couple weeks, it hasn't been working. The fob will not start the car, even being within 20 feet. Its kind of a let down.

The items description seemed as if a regular or average level skilled person could install this. Upon picking up the item I found you have to have some advanced electrical knowledge of vehicles and wiring. Item was exchanged

I bought two of these, one for each of my daughters. Although not very fancy the fob works well and the fact that it comes with the app to start the car from their phones was a big plus.
