Here it Dec 31,2022 and I’m just now having to replace my battery because my loving husband likes to put keys in his pocket and sit on the remote All the time. Lol

App is free to use in Bluetooth range of the car, range is about 25 ft max. The remote and the fobs work great and have a decent range.

OEM remote only functions every now and then. And app is useless, gotta connect via Bluetooth every time if you want to use. Remote hinge broke without effort and customer service (Viper) was far the worst i have ever come across. They will not, i repeat "not" help you with anything. Have emailed and been on the phone for a minimum of 40 min for them to just pick up and hang up on purpose. Last time i buy a product from Viper Alarms. Will take my money to another brand that does value there customers.

Everytime I use the remote now my horn honks 8 times, and then starts. can't use the keyfob now to unlock with the button now either if remote start is running. Geek squad did not call back.
