Great product and also it was a great service nice

Do not buy this. This was purchased for father's day. 6 months later it is malfunctioning. The stock car key can't lock the doors anymore and when I try it the car starts. This is not with the Viper remote, this is with the regular Toyota keyless entry key. Very scary when you have two kids riding with you everyday. Doesn't feel like a safe product and I will have it removed from my car immediately. The actual remote is extremely poor quality. The ring that connects it to your key chain is plastic. That broke in about 3 months. Customer service (viper) said the way to fix it is to buy another plaster remote. Then, the didn't respond to any further emails. The Best Buy installer told me after install that I'm better off not even using the app. He said that it only works from about 100 feet away and doesn't really work through the walls of your house. So, maybe say that before the item is purchased? Overall, this thing is a pain and a waste of money.

They are ok when they work wt8ght but if the store where you buy it at would ever get back with youcbout fixing it would be even better

I was told this remote was great and would work through walls and from far away. Nope. It definitely doesn’t work from long distances. Sometimes it didn’t even work from a close distance. I took it in and was told they couldn’t do anything because it worked sometimes. Took it back again because I was so irritated and was told that it doesn’t work through walls or long distance. That’s not what I was told when I purchased it. They said they could maybe install a different one but I’ll have to pay $100. Definitely don’t buy this one.

I am very satisfied with my remote start. The technician who installed it was very thorough and gave great customer service.

They sent text to change installation time. Then get there said you are early. Then installed it and didn’t give us the manual or the box. Can’t even call the store directly. What a joke.

It was installed on fed. 8 work2weeks then quit now it's going to take till April 8 to get it working again I hope not happy at all

Good price but they canceled my installation appointment twice and rude customer service person Athens Ga.

Does not come with a usb charging cable. No manual. Works great

I would give this 0 stars if I could. Not for the product but the customer service. I bought this to surprise my hubby for Christmas. I got to my appt only to find out I didn’t have what I needed (2 keys, we only had 1). So I had them install but we couldn’t use. I left and finally spent the money to have another key made only to find out we had a factory starter that was fully functioning we didn’t know about. The tech didn’t mention it. So now we have a non-working aftermarket that I don’t need. I called several times and explained this to multiple people. Finally I’m told we can get it out but essentially I have to pay to do it because the install fee is non-refundable and was built into the price. The product description doesn’t specify the fee is included in the price of the item. So now I’ve basically paid to return a product I never would’ve purchased in the first place had I known. This will be the last item I ever buy from Best Buy.

Received this remote start for Christmas. Best gift ever. haven't got max range dialed in yet, but easy to use.

it sure does not work at a 1/2 mile, it may work better with the extra cost deluxe remotes

Bought this gift for my wife for Christmas and her choice is to wait 2 months to have it installed an hour drive away or try to return it. Then we check and they say it's no longer returnable. Not cool. Don't buy an install from Best buy for your car. Clearly they are under staffed and sell more than what they can reasonably handle.

It sucks just like the alarm system doesn’t even work properly I don’t even think it’s working at all I’m taking it back and having it taken out because I don’t even think the alarm system works or does the gadget that goes with the alarm so no I’m not happy with the whole thing at all

Viper remote start works 3 feet from my truck taking back to shop to have fixed .

Has worked great! Very good range for a receiver. Wish remote was a two way but that is an upgrade option.
