Sometimes you can be standing 5ft away, aiming right at the car and with brand new batteries, and it won't work. Other times you can be in a building 100 or more feet away and it will work even though you thought there wasn't a chance.

The OM info doesn't match how it actually functions, so you either have to remember what you're told or play with it to figure it out. The BT phone functionality is mostly useless (will start car, but says it didn't; door lock/unlock does work, but nothing else does... didn't pay extra for trunk/heated seats). I purchased 7857 remote on Amazon and is nice for feedback...has been wrong a couple of times. There were a couple of installation issues with those have been resolved.

Waited in line to hear from the Geek Squad that they cant install the product because I missed my appointment while I was waiting in line the entire time.

Not great for newer cars

But if you have a newer car with a keyless start/ push button start, the car shuts off when you open the door. Meaning you have to restart the car every time. There is no way around this, it’s a fail safe with the cars. Had I known I would not have one installed
