It tends to be difficult to push just right to start engine and when the security system is installed with it, it gets a little unclear if it is working unless you are right there to listen for chirps. I was forced to buy the optional two way 5 button remote which works great but more money spent. The smart phone app does work well but you must be within 30 feet of vehicle max for it to work.

Not great unless you add on gps module

I highly recommend adding on the pro GPS module if you want to connect from virtually anywhere.

Door lock problem after remote starter installed.

However, now the car remote can no longer unlock the doors while the car is running after it is started with the remote. I have to turn off the engine with the starter remote and then unlock the doors with the car remote. I had a remote starter installed on my previous car that did not behave this way.

good low end starter - good value

Installed price (249) on sale can't be beat. 1 way button reasonable line of sight distance (driveway, work parking lot etc). Make sure you hear it or see it start. The app sucks, I'm 30 feet away in the house and it won't find it. App maybe good for higher end unit.
