Much needed backup battery. Instead of charging ever 3-4 months, with the extra battery the camera lasts a lot longer

I recently purchased the Ring 2 Video doorbell. What a great investment. I highly recommend this unit. Upon initial setup the battery takes a few hours to charge. I decided to buy a second battery, so when the unit battery gets low i can swap it out rather than keep the doorbell inoperative until the battery recharges. I recommend all Ring 2 owners to follow this process, so there never is any downtime with the doorbell. The battery keeps a charge for 6-8 weeks normal daily use depending on the parameters set on your doorbell

Just a great option to be able replace the battery, easy to install and remove

I have a ring camera that I needed to have an additional battery for so that I would be able to keep the camera constantly running at all times without changing the battery as much. So now I have four batteries for easy access to keep the power going. The batteries are long lasting depending on your usage. Fortunately, I have many cats, foxes, bunnies and dogs running by the camera causing a little bit more usage than usual. The batteries have held charges for at least about three months or more even with all of the back-and-forth of the wildlife outside. 

With a spare battery for your Ring Doorbell (RD), you don't have to leave your RD dead in the water while its battery charges. Just do a quick swap with your spare, charge the depleted one, then stick it in a drawer til the next swap. It makes it super easy, and your Ring is up 99.9999% of the time! At this price, it's a no-brainer.

Keep a second battery around so you don't have to wait. We like that you don't need to remove the entire camera to charge the battery (See Google Nest Wifi Battery Doorbell)

So far these batteries are wirking well. I am still glad we told the warranties out and good for 4 years.

Exact replacement. Thought it would be hard to get replacement batteries. But surprise, here they are.

Got the Ring door bell last year, House frame didn't allow for easy wiring, so decided to go with battery power. Holds a charge, great quality and easy to install.

Good price. The batteries do last, depending on how you set up the cameras (max motion detection and how long the lights stay on). It does take a while to charge (from say 95% empty.)

Extra batteries Make the life last a lot longer would buy another set

I am surprised how long these batteries last! We have a spare ready to charge when we are alerted the battery is down to 20-30%. The battery holds a charge with our usage about 6 months. Easy to charge and swap out. In really cold weather (-5 or below F) the camera doesn't work, but Ring notes that.

I don't have a wired door bell, so I bought a couple of these. Easy to replace. Comes with it's own little screw driver that cannot be duplicated. Lasts about a month....month 1/2 before having to replace with the xtra battery. A little pricey, but still holding the charge well after a year.

I bought this as a backup battery to my new Ring doorbell so I'd not lose video time while the installed one was charging. It charged up fine and is installed (the original ran down, even though fully charged at the time if installation) faster than I thought it would. Re: This battery - I erroneously bought a warranty package for it when I thought I was buying a warranty package for the doorbell itself! Ridiculous; wasted money. Now it's too late and I don't have the protection package I wanted on the doorbell. Be careful doing online orders if you want a warranty/protection package - make sure it's for the item you want it for. It was not clear to me that I was ordering the package only for the backup battery!

Batteries are lasting about 30 days with use on a daily basis. It charges within a few hours. I have two for easy rotation. I would recommend having more than the one that comes with the package. Easy to adjust settings to show battery is discharging and how much power is left.

Ring battery, great security system, and these batteries make things easy.
