It’s relatively inexpensive and it’s easily inserted into the doorbell. Always great to have a backup since the battery takes a while to fully charge. I haven't had any issues with my original battery over the last 1.5 years; so, I'd hope to extend it's lifespan by swapping between 2 of them.
