Testing SpotCam

Now, we had an additional battery which we did not need but we kept it to add to the 2nd slot in our new SpotCam - its great since now we just pull the drain battery out and have no interruption in monitoring.

We got really tired of taking the battery out, charging it for most of the day then forgetting it on the charger. Now, with a second battery we are able to just switch the batteries out and have no gap in doorbell service.

Battery needed charging out of the box, but that’s pretty standard. Installing this battery after my original one finally got low on power was a breeze. I didn’t pay attention to exactly how long it took to drain this battery the first time around, but it lasted at least a month. Buy it if you need it.

This is a must have if you don’t hard wire your ring which i think most people would rather not do. I don’t think there’s any other battery options so this is the one to get if you need one for your ring. Battery lasts plenty too so you’re not switching it out all the time.

It's an easy way to keep your battery-powered camera working simply by changing our batteries. The battery itself lasts a long time. At most I change it out every other month with lots of recorded activity.

Ring Battery Pack Totally Worth It!

With the solar charger, I have not once had to take either battery pack out and charge them! Charge them initially upon opening from package, pop in solar products and forget about it! We love ours!!

It's the exact same thing that comes with the doorbell. It includes the micro USB charging cable as well. Wish it were USB C, since that's what's becoming the new standard. It can be a little tricky to press the release in sometimes. The price of these should be a little lower for their value. Everyone else sells it for about $1 less, which you can have price matched either way. However, the price would be more fair at about $20-25. Otherwise, I'd recommend this either a backup or replacement battery for any Ring product.
