Now I can swap out the packs when the other is charging so the Ring doorbell is always working.

We have to rely on batteries only as there is not a wired doorbell. Having an extra battery is essential for zero downtime.

The second battery to keep Ring running

So, the second battery is mandatory to keep security on.

Two Are Better Than One

So far it’s been 3 weeks since I install the doorbell and it’s still at 85% charge. Must hold a charge well so haven’t had to use this one.
