It is very easy to change and done quickly. This way the camera is always on and there is no "down" time.

I wanted to have a charged battery to swap out the dead one to avoid down time on my doorbell. It is made of sturdy hard plastic and appears to be the identical battery that came with the doorbell. I’m pleased by its performance. It holds a charge for well over a month. It’s a bit pricy, but worth the investment.
