The best vacuum I’ve owned. Powerful, light weight, and cordless!

Great vacuum! Light weight, easy to get under and around furniture. I’m amazed at the pet hair it picks up!

What can i say? It sucks!!! And with the extended battery life and power, it can help the house stay cleaner

I bought the Dyson V10 Animal cordless vacuum specifically because it was marketed as ideal for pet owners—and because the cordless design sounded convenient. But after months of use, I can honestly say it’s been more frustrating than helpful. The suction power is underwhelming, especially considering the price and the fact that it's supposed to handle pet hair. It just doesn't pull up debris as well as you'd expect from a premium vacuum—even on hard floors or light rugs. Worse, the dust bin is a pain to empty without creating a mess. Cleaning the vacuum becomes its own chore, which defeats the point. Battery life? Forget it. Even after a full charge, the vacuum doesn’t last long enough to clean more than a room or two—especially on the higher settings where you actually get decent suction. And then it takes forever to recharge. After all that, I find myself going back to my old, cheaper, corded vacuum. Sure, I have to fight with the cord, but at least it actually cleans. After reading other reviews, I can see I’m not alone: Many people report disappointing battery life Others complain about the messy dustbin and weak suction And quite a few agree that for pet hair, it’s not as effective as promised Yes, it looks sleek and the idea of cordless is nice—but if you actually need it to do the job, especially with pets, this vacuum falls flat. For the price, I expected a lot more. Definitely not worth it in my opinion.

A very powerful cleaner and comparable and maybe better than the corded ones. Medium power is sufficient for household cleaning. With high power, battery drains pretty fast. The attachments come in handy for tight spaces, carpeted stairs and cars. Very light and can be maneuvered easily. Time will tell how long the battery lasts, seems this is an irreplaceable sealed battery.

I recently purchased this dyson and I am satisfied with the results. It’s very easy to use since it is cordless and I am able to vacuum my whole apt in one use. The battery life is good and only needs to be recharged for 3hrs to fully charge. The different head sets are convenient for those hard to reach places. It’s also easy to empty out, which I try to do every time I use it to keep it clean. Overall I’m pretty happy with it the only thing that I think dyson could work on is the button to turn it on. In order to use it you have to hold on to that button which could be annoying at times. If they could add in an auto option and manual option it would be nice.

When our old Dyson Stick sadly passed on we replaced it with this new cyclone v10. This baby really sucks. The battery lasts forever. I have a big house plenty of hard wood floors and rugs and I can vacuum the whole house and it still has power. Did I mention pets? Yep a long hair cat and fluffy little dog both shed like mad and the hair never gets tangled in the head. Easy to empty, easy to clean, more powerful. Buy this thing you won’t regret it.

I have two long haired cats and carpet, so I am constantly vacuuming. This Dyson is perfect because it's ready to go whenever, wherever. No cord to deal with, no heavy lugging up and down stairs. Just pick it up and go. There are just a few downsides to consider: - small canister: it feels like I'm constantly emptying this thing, but luckily, it's very easy to do (once you figure it out. I had to YouTube how to do it.) - you have to hold down the On button the whole time you're vacuuming. It can get a little rough on my finger when I'm vacuuming for long periods of time or when I'm tackling the stairs since I'm lifting from that point. But other than that, I'm very pleased with this vacuum. The standout positives are: - the switch by the roller to raise or lower it. This is magic. If you have larger objects to pick up (like you spilled cheerios or something), you can slightly raise the roller to be able to pick those up. But if you don't have larger objects, you can lower it and get more suction. - the ease of switching out tools. On my older vacuums, I NEVER used any of the other tools because it was a pain to switch them. On this Dyson, the buttons to release each section are very easy to press and there are two different sections you can attach them to; down by the roller or up by the canister. Lots of different use cases here. Overall, I highly recommend this vacuum and plan on using it for a very long time.
