Shielding is not good

Is it me or was the shielding on CAT5 cables better? The shielding is horrible. Causes static to come thru my speakers, also the volume would lower and higher itself as I walked by them sometimes.If you are running the cable on its own, you should be fine just don’t have close to any sound cables
