This is a definite improvement from my old APC UPS. It is much lighter and smaller in size which makes it easier to store under the desk. However, this is a "bare-bones" battery backup that will keep my computer running during short-term power outages. I didn't need anything fancy, and I didn't use some of the features from the old UPS. I researched the cost of a battery replacement and this system was only a few dollars more than a replacement battery for the old UPS. Purchasers may opt to get the SX650U or SX950U if the want more backup power. Also those units have UPS charging ports and connections to a PC for system monitoring. The lack of USB charging connection was the thing I was disappointed with on this unit.

So far no issues, works as it should. I bought this to protect my projector in the event of a power failure. Most people don't think about this, but if the power goes out while the hot projector is running it may damage it. So far I've only had this happen once and the backup allowed me to power down the projector and the fans to cool it properly. Just make sure you plug into outlets that are battery protected, because some are surge only, but it is clearly indicated.

Works well and extremely easy to implement. Much more robust than the specs seem to indicate.

Much smaller and lighter than my previous back-up battery. Easy to set up. Hopefully will last a long time.

While this unit doesn't support cold starting and supports a relatively low wattage, my use case was to power a small Ethernet switch during power blips and it can certainly do that and has a good run time for a low wattage device.

This is a small UPS, but perfect for keeping several smaller electronic devices (satallite wi-fi hub, outdoor weather station, and more) protected. I use larger back-ups for my laptop, TV, printer, and other devices with higher energy demands. Good value.

I hate that I fell for some of these electronic/smart appliances - in my case a fancy shower. Problems arise whenever we lose power, even if just for a second, which is quite common in Texas. This is relatively small and inexpensive, and perfect for what i needed which prevents things from going into shutdown/resets.

This is an excellent battery backup for the television and the cable modem/Wi-Fi router. When the power went out a few days ago, this battery backup was able to allow me to turn off the router and TV with no issues.

Bought it to back up our TV. Works great if power fails. Price is reasonable.

This is my go to battery back up for the office. Works great for the typical workstation. Easy to use and lasts a long time.

Easy to set up and had enough outlets for all my plugs

I bought it mainly for my router and checked to see how many minutes of backup a 450VA system would give me. Tested my cable modem and router. The total wattage of those units was about 19 watts, and this system powered them for about hour. Plenty of time usually when my power goes out power comes back in about 5 minutes longest time my power has been out in a storm was about 25 minutes. I was hoping not to spend a lot money. This was perfect. Less than $50.00. I always have internet.

I have several UPSs and this one offers a good value when you don’t need a huge amount of battery backup. I bought this one for my senior mother to use in her condo. She keeps it plugged in and under her bed to be able to use for essentials (phone charging, table lamp, CPAP etc) in the event of a short power outage. It just gives her piece of mind and is one less thing for her to worry about.

Setup easy, has option to connect to computer. Did not use that connected to router and telephone. Reasonable Priced

Living in Florida we are subject to the occasional power blip, either storms ( small & very large ) or the usual construction issues where something breaks a line. I had UPS's in the past, but needed a new one for my router, modem, switch and a monitor. Not a lot of Amps but still critical items. This 450VA unit filled the bill and was at Best Buy with a good price.

I purchased this Battery Back Up system for the office. Nice compact size. Very reliable and easy to install.

Plugged it into router/modem left it there and havent had any issue. I had to put a physical access control on the room it was in. Doesnt stop human errors! But good product, breaker pops often at home. Didnt want wifi to always be cutting out so added back up battery.
