I had the first gen pencil for years and it worked fine however I hated the way you had to charge the device. This product allows for easy charging and storage with the iPad Air. Definitely a most have!

Obviously it only works with the new iPads, however it instantly connnects magnetically, and charges on the side. I like the fact that you can double tap the pencil and switch between the most recent tool you were using (i.e. pencil and eraser) but i also love that you don’t have to plug it in to the bottom of the iPad to pair/use. Also love that it just sticks to the side. Only downside would be that if you put in pack it can fall off of the iPad. Otherwise no complaints.

Personally, I prefer the squeeze method more than the old tapping method to access more options and use the device. However, I wish there were more functionalities available when using it on note-taking apps.
