Nice little upgrade

Owned for 6 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A slight upgrade from the 1st gen ( that I also own) the tapping for the switch to pencil to eraser is much more convenient from the 1st especially when you are knee deep in a picture and don't have to stop to tap the screen over and over again to go between the two functions.

My first Apple pen with an Ipad!

I love how these Ipad pens just have a magnet that stick to the ipad and kind of charge off of them. The pens work very well and my handwriting looks decent. I picked one up for both of my sisters new ipads too! I like that you can pick different colors of pens and different tips - pencil, crayon, pen, thick pen and an eraser.

Amazing and Useful

I've had it for about 2 years now and haven't needed to replace the pencil tip. Connects easily, and makes writing notes a breeze. Definitely worth it if you use your iPad to take notes in school.

There is for sure a learning curve when getting used to using the Apple Pencil, but if you are a student or just love taking notes, using the Pencil is really helpful. And you can use it for digital art as well. I would suggest buying an iPad case that has a spot for the Pencil as well so you don’t loose it.

A Must for Designers/Illustrators with iPads

Especially if you plan on drawing and doing creative work on your iPad. Super comfortable also and battery life is great.
