Best price at $89 but I lost my pencil.. been looking for it. It’s great to do homework or even general stuff

I like this pencil as it charges through wireless connection while magnetically attached to the iPad. The first gen struggled since you had to figure out how to clip / store it.

Another great accessory from Apple. Gestures are awesome! The pencil isn’t really a necessity though; unless you own the iPad Pro (especially the 12.9) and prefer not to use a Bluetooth keyboard. Then, it’s really something you should have, due to the only painless drawback that I have noticed...the new location/size of the onscreen keyboard now being optimized for the pencil on pro models. This isn’t technically a flaw per se, rather just a quirk of my iPad Pro nearly making the pencil a required accessory. The pro onscreen keyboard will no longer split into two sections for easy thumb typing; rather it shrinks into an easy to use size that’s perfect for the pencil...or you can skip the keys altogether & just literally write it in! So yeah, great if you have one, a bummer I’m sure if you don’t. The only other con is that this only pencil doesn’t include a spare nib (tip) like the 1st gen did and they’re not always readily available or easy to find. However, if you use a “paper” style textured screen protector for drawing; I’ve heard that will wear the nib much faster, so that is something to consider with no spare included.

There's not much to say that it works perfectly and is a lightweight pencil.

The Apple pen is superb. Charges right in the case against my iPad. Nice not having another electronic to plug in. Use for highlighting when reading, puzzles, ...

The 2nd Generation seems to be a better product than its predecessor. Had difficulty connecting with the Gen 1 and had to trade it out with Apple, it never got better.

Well I had the 1st generation before I got this one, and while i do enjoy the magnetic charing aspect the quality might not be as good. I have only had this pencil for a few weeks, and I'm already having issues. I will not connect anymore. When it is connected to the side of my ipad it will charge, but when trying to use it to write, it will not connect. I tried resetting my ipad, and disconnecting my bluetooth. Then "forgetting the device" but still no luck. I might have gotten a bad one, but I never had any issues whatsoever with my 1st generation apple pencil.

This pencil is very handy at first I didn’t know if it was worth the extra amount for the pencil. I’m glad I purchased though because I’ve found many uses for it and use it most of the time now

Super useful!! Works beautifully with my iPad Air 4. Easy to hold, feels good in the hand. I use it primarily to take notes for school and it has changed my life!

The new magnetic pencil is great. Don’t have to think about charging anymore. Plus it’s always with my iPad. It’s really responsive as well and I like the button to switch between drawing and erasing.
