    I had the prior iPad Pro 9.7 and pencil. It always concerned me having it stick out from iPad that I would break it off. The 'side mount' and charge is much nicer design.

    After trying dupes, I went ahead and just spent the money on the Apple Pencil. I use it in my iPad Pro 12.9 and new mini!

    If you’re buying an iPad Pro, then the additional purchase of an Apple Pencil is an absolute. The price tag is a little on the higher side, but this pencil is second to none. Any off-brand writing utensils will probably not work as well as the Apple Pencil. It’s a great Pencil, VERY little to no lag and it seats comfortably in your hand.

    I didn’t know if I would use the pencil or not. But it comes in so handy to jot notes. Really makes it personal. And because it’s magnetic no need to wonder where you left your pencil
