I bought this for my wife so she can use it with her iPad Pro I bought her for Christmas. She enjoys it and it's very easy to use. It magnetically sticks to the side of the iPad and it she enjoys using it to maneuver around with games and apps. Even though its not needed to use the iPad, it's a nice tool to compliment it.

Almost like I'm drawing with an actually pencil. Extremely quick to respond. The double tap on the flat side is a very nice feature to have and it keeps charge for a while. I only wish there were more colors. Love the wireless charging

Best Buy offers the best price for the Apple Pencil (2nd gen) and has frequent sales on it. This is my second pencil (purchasing it as a gift) and again, Best Buy had the best deal on it! If you're someone who plans to use their iPad to take notes and draw the Apple Pencil is a must!

Much more functional than the first generation It’s worth the price if you use your iPad Pro to replace a laptop. I use my iPad to manage my business, it’s with me well over 12 hours a day, Basically from when I wake up to when I go to sleep Easier to fill out PDF documents such as forms and the double tap feature where you can switch between a pen and an eraser is good Drawback is that the software needs to be able to utilize it better, But we’ll see what happens with iPadOS 14 Bottom line: the price is steep, But if your iPad Pro is an essential part of your day, this is a must have

Love this pen. Great feel, very responsive, and the fact that its magnetic & charges while attached to the iPad is genius. I've seen people use the pen for general use which is a little buggy for me but drawing wise it's perfect.

I own an original Apple Pencil for my old iPad Pro. This one us superior in many ways. Being able to charge via a magnetic hold on the side of the iPad is a game changer. I alway felt like I would lose the cap to my old Pencil. I no longer am worried about that. This feels great in my hand. Drawing on the iPad is so much fun.

This is an awesome addition I've gotten for my Ipad. I've recently gotten into doing graphic designing and drawing and this works really well with many applications. It charges pretty quickly too. If you do have a case on your Ipad you will most likely have to take it off for the pencil to charge but otherwise, I am enjoying it thus far.

Love the 2nd gen Apple Pencil. Very easy to attach to the side of the iPad, and the battery life is excellent. The double tap feature to switch between pencil and eraser is also great, however sometimes it can be quite sensitive, and switch over to eraser mode when you don’t mean to.

This is my first purchase of an Apple - Pencil. I didn't understand at first why this pencil is so expensive but I see all that you can do with it. Still a little pricey but worth it.

First pencil I ever had was when I initially purchased my iPad. On the second day of having the pencil it fell from my iPad case. I had taken my eyes off of it for about 15 seconds. When I finally realized the pencil wasn’t in sight I frantically began to look around for it in bed. Once I located the pencil it was missing 15% of the tip and the cute lavender silicone case with ears I had just put on it. Jokes on me that case was supposed to protect it. Guess I didn’t read the fine print that the silicone Apple Pencil case doesn’t protect against dog theft and vandalization. Of course me being me had to purchase another pencil again from Best Buy. I also trained my dog to not take the Apple Pencil ever again.

Don’t Get For Just Note Taking

After a month of use. Regular paper and pencil works just fine for notes although you won’t be able to organize and label important sections of your notes neatly. I’ve been using the Apple Pencil mainly to take notes. The Apple Pencil is great if you want to digitize your notes. Note taking has also been an upgrade for me since I can now color code notes and highlight digital documents. I’m able to take as many notes as I want without worrying about wasting paper. I can organize and file them accordingly for each topic and find them in a pinch. Although the $129.99 price is quite a lot for a stylus. Might be better to use notebook and paper. My classmates are having no troubles using paper and pencil, just uploading a photo of their notes and work is the only problem since our class website doesn’t take HEVC/HEIF photos (the standard format iPhones take photos and videos). Overall, I kind of do and don’t regret buying the Apple Pencil. It’s quite expensive and just using normal paper and pencil for class can achieve almost the same results. I feel that it’s worth buying if you’re a digital artists or if it was $99.99 like the first first gen. Some stuff about the Apple Pencil after a month of use •Matte design feels better than the first generation for sure •The magnetic design is a very nice thing to have since you don’t lose it and it charges every time it’s connected •Made the mistake of using the pencil while I still had just a light amount of motor oil still on my finger. It stained the pencil of course, but it disappeared after a few days of normal use. •Been using GoodNotes and Files to write and it doesn’t always write where the tip is at, usually off by just a minuscule amount but enough to throw me off, but I do have a glass screen protector on the tablet which is most likely the cause.

My daughter loves this Apple Pencil. She uses it for her home work, drawling , learning apps and games. I also use this Apple Pencil for work purposes and charting. It makes a lot a lot easier than having to type everything in manually with my fingers Originally I bought the wrong one and Best Buy was so helpful and accommodating me for a return and guiding me into the right one I needed.

Works so well, especially if you like to write on paper I recommend getting the paper felt matte screen protector. Only drawback for that is you’ll need to buy more pencil tips.

If you own the newer iPad Pro, I would highly recommend purchasing one. It makes the experience of the iPad Pro that much better and feels great when note taking and combined with specific screen protectors to mimic the pencil on paper feel. I really enjoy the simplicity of the pencil attaching magnetically/charging on the side of the iPad.

This new generation of apple pencil has many advantages over its predecessor. First, it charges on the side without trying to find the original charger or plugging into the end. Secondly, it has a flat side so it doesn't roll everywhere. Lastly, it has the capability to change settings (pencil to eraser) with a tap. These features alone are worth their weight in gold.

Having both apple pencils and this one is way better, in terms of usability and the way it charges. The downside is only applicable to the iPad Pro series and a tad expensive. Overall it is valuable only if you really work with arts, otherwise, don't splash your money. You can spend the money to buy AirPods or other accessories.
