Finally broke down, and bought one: I’m learning photoshop for my photograohy, and this was very necessary. Does what it’s supposed to do, and works as described. I haven’t had any issues. Oh and I love that it charges any time you put it on the iPad!

very easy to use and it takes a while before battery runs low. It's just too fragile, be careful not to drop it and put a case on it.

The pen connects perfectly in the IPad space. If you have a Logitech keyboard, it will fit perfectly too. Love that it charges together with the Ipad. Great pen!

This pen charges straight off the ipad and works great in all the ipad apps. I use it with Adobe Fresco.

Bought new iPad and old pen wouldn't work on new model. Like that it has a flat side and that it magnetically sticks to top of ipad. I'd have rather the old one worked so I didn't have to have 2 but I guess at some point they needed to upgrade.

This is a great gadget . Easy to use and great for drawing. I bought one also for my niece as a graduation gift. She is 11 years old and loves to draw. She is happy with her pencil The available free apps are great.

Even if you are not an artist, having an Apple Pencil will drastically improve your iPad experience. You can use it to take notes quickly, to annotate files and draw up plans in a variety of apps. It charges easily and quickly, and the integration with iOS makes for a seamless transition between apps.

This is a great upgrade from the 1st gen. The doubletap feature is a little weird sometimes but it's still very useful. I like the weight and balance of this one significantly more than the 1st gen as well. The texture of it, the magnetic attachment and charging, the pressure sensitivity etc. It's all good. In every way. I wanted to get this thing for YEARS. So it's really gratifying to finally get it and have it be genuinely good.

It's easy to use and the way it charges saves space. I do find it a bit annoying how expensive it was to get.

I was sort of forced to buy this when I upgraded my iPad to a Pro, but I’m so happy I did. Everything is an improvement over the original Apple Pencil. It draws smoother, stays connected better, has better pressure control, and the wireless charging is a godsend.

Llightwight but very well made, love that it doesnt have the end that can be lost like the first, much easier to hold for someonenwith hEDS love it!

I picked this product up for the express purpose of using it with my 2018 Ipad Pro. I will tell you that you could waste a lot of money trying to find a suitable pen to use and you would be better off just buying the one you know will work. It has the weight that one would expect in an actual writing utensil with the capability to give the user the tactile feel of real world results. I am using it for everything on my ipad and it makes selecting text or objects a dream. The art programs are plentiful but the capability the pen has is best showcased by two apps I have used so far. PROCREATE and Adobe Sketch. I have used it for a sculpting program as well as I have to say it has enhanced my work.

Having been using iPads for years, I have used the pencil as well. Not that I am into graphics design any longer, I just use it occasionally. This version is leagues ahead of gen 1. Easy to charge, and the fact it will magnetically attach to the iPad Pro is awesome.

Bought this along with the 12.9" iPad Pro as a gift for Mother's Day. My mom is a digital illustrator and designer, and vacillates between paper sketches and working on her Wacom Cintiq. The iPad Pro seemed like the next logical step, and the Apple Pencil really should come *with* the iPad, as the experience simply isn't the same without it. It is an absolute must for the serious designer looking to get the most out of their investment. I haven't used it as extensively as my mom has (after all, it's her) but I can say that the Pencil is weighty, and feels more natural in the hand than any other writing utensil I've held. Charging is easy, it is incredibly responsive to the slightest tap/pressure or the angle with which it's held (important in regards to brush strokes!) and feels very sturdy. Again, even if it added to the iPad's price tag, the Pencil should come WITH it, as it really completes the iPad experience.

There were issues with BlueTooth connectivity and initial setup. But it was quite handy once it was setup. One word of caution... always buy a tether to ensure that you do not lose it... because if it is misplaced/lost... it is almost difficult to locate/find since "Find My" does not work for the Apple Pencil accessory. Also remember to buy it along with the Apple iPAD in the same purchase/receipt; since Apple Care+ will allow you to add the accessory to the iPAD's Apple Care for no additional cost only if purchase was made on the same receipt.

I use this apple pen for my ipad air 5th generation. I can charge it in top of the ipad which is a feature I personally like.

This Pencil comes pre-sharpened! Attaches magnetically to the iPad and charges with USB-C cable [Just as the magic keyboard and iPad do.] Artist Wife loves it!

Love using this with iPad Pro. I bought a new iPad to help teach distance learning and realized the pencil would be something I could really put to use!. It made writing on assignments so much simpler and much easier to draw angles, quadrilaterals etc. on whiteboard mode in Zoom.

Awesome pencil. Never have to charge since it is always attached. Feels like a regular pencil and is pretty durable. Much better than the first gen pencil
