This is a very sleek, compact, hand held vacuum. Very stylish and compact. Decent suction power, slightly on the louder side. The collection bin is very small, so if you have a spill of any notable size you will probably have to empty it in the middle of your clean up. The battery could last a little longer, in my opinion. but for a quick clean up of the random collection of dust bunnies or dirt it works well. Is great for small spaces like my camper!

This small stylish hand vac is fine for picking up very light stuff, like dust and cereal or cat litter but don't expect it to dig cat hair out of a carpet or furniture. Or even pick up stuff that has any significant mass to it. It just doesn't have the horsepower for that. Run time is also pretty limited, just a few minutes, followed by a three hour charge time, so that is a limitation. The attachments are good but also have a downside. The brush for picking up pet hair does it mainly via friction between the rough surface along the edge of the brush, not the vac. You have to pull the hair out of the attachment by hand and then feed to to the vac. Or just dump it in the trash. Using the attachment without the vac would do the same thing. The crevice tool has a handy flip out brush attachment but when in use, it greatly limits the suction of the vac since it prevents a hard seal between the vac and the thing you are trying to clean. Mostly good just for dusting. Bottom line: Its a good little vac as long as it's a light duty job. And you don't demand a long run time. But simply lacks the power for big jobs. Still, it does look pretty nice compared to most hand vacs.

This thing really sucks I love a good vacuum pun. I also love a good vacuum. Last year we finally had to buy a new one because our previous one started working in reverse and parts to repair were too difficult to find. We spent a lot of time reading reviews and checking out different models, trying to find the best all around vacuum. And, while it may seem that a full-sized vacuum has nothing at all to do with a small handheld one, it is interesting how buying a vacuum in 2018 is no different than it was 10-20 years ago. The market is saturated with options, all of which are labeled as better than others, but they all do exactly the same thing. This particular model has a sleek and modern design, and even though it’s a vacuum cleaner it looks good on your kitchen counter…that’s a big selling point for me, because the closer the vacuum is to your highest traffic areas (without being obviously placed in the middle of the floor in everyone’s way), the greater the likelihood that you will use it when you need it. Kitchen and dining room messes are the biggest use case for something like this, which has at most a 10-minute run time on a full charge. The suction is great, it does a phenomenal job pulling up dirt, but the dust bin is rather small and is probably more ideal for whole cheerios than it is spilled coffee grounds: the filter is similarly small and has to be cleaned often to maximize the unit’s performance. The attachments are nice, also, and all fit well into the provided cradle where the unit charges. It’s a great vacuum for small jobs, but I’m not sure the price is justified for most buyers. I enjoy having it around the house, and I’d probably only pick it up on sale.

Fantastic handheld vacuum, super convenient for vacuuming out my car and removing dog hair from furniture/beds, etc. It is very powerful for such as small and lightweight device. It empties with a quick push of the button and charges quickly. I love that the filters are washable and reusable. My kids make messes all the time, this handy vacuum is worth its weigh in gold with them around. Love it!

I am left spellbound at the power of the ION W1 HandVac. The battery charges incredibly quickly. And lasts quite a while between charges. I felt like a kid with a new toy this morning as I decided to vacuum out my car, then my wife's car with it. I couldn't believe the power this thing has for being so small. To compare, you know those vacs at "do it yourself" carwashes? It is almost that strong (not joking!). Then when you are done with the chore, simply hit a button and all the dirt and debris falls out without having to touch it - which is good for the germaphobe in all of us. The filters themselves are removable and cleanable, saving cost on not having to replace them. Not to mention, this thing looks like something out of a sci-fi movie (especially while on its charger!) Ok.. I'm geeking out about a vacuum. But i have every reason to!! The included attachments are all useful and can easily be stored on the base. Best of all this does not make the annoying whine other products do. The ION is perfect for all messes that you don't want to drag the "big boy" out for. Bust out of the habit of getting the same old handvac. Get the ION!

Great suction. Very lightweight, can get into small spaces other handheld vaccuums cant. Very handy!

The Shark ION W1 Cordless Hand Vac is a sleek looking device that performs well for quick cleanups in the house and anywhere else you need dry material picked up. The unit comes with two attachments in addition to the base nozzle which they fit into. The edge attachment has an ingenious flipover brush feature which allow the edge attachment to double as a suction brush. Anyway, to get to performance, lots of suction accompanied by a high pitched motor, did wonders for my tinnitus (if you don’t have it, you will if you use this more than 10 minutes at a time). I did a quick cleanup on a few items on a low carpet, did not have a problem and was able to pickup everything I pointed it to. Used the attachments (or nozzle modifiers) which worked well for doing a quick cleanup of my car, the wide nozzle attachment did a good job cleaning my car mats, without having to take them out, used the edge tool to cleanup the edges of the mat along with some of the harder to reach places in my vehicle. A little more about the design, although it is sleek looking, the dirt cup which is on the middle of the bottom of the unit is released by a button adjacent to the power button on the top of the unit’s handle. This design initially had me emptying the entire contents of the dirt cup onto my freshly vacuumed floor mat, not what I intended, once the cup seemed to release with a slight knock on the bottom of the unit. As you can imagine this was quite annoying and occurred at least twice before I had to be extra vigilant on how I gripped the unit and caution when powering on or off. In any case the unit works well enough, probably the best performing cordless quick vac I have used. With a few tweaks this product would be a powerful and highly recommended unit. Pros: - Sucks coins up with out a problem, for a rechargeable – impressive - Attachments and charging stand which holds them - Decent battery life. Cons: - Loud, high pitch sound - Dirt cup design and release button placement

This is the 21st century version of a dust buster and works as expected. The suction is pretty good and works far better when vacuuming things off of a hard surface as compared to a sofa/chair/carpet etc. It is a quick and easy solution for small jobs and I think it may work great in my car if/when the time comes. For now we used it to vacuum up dried dog/cat food from the counter tops and to clean little messes without having to take down the entire full size vacuum. I would recommend this for those types of small jobs.

This is a pretty powerful handheld vac for its size. It’s perfect for cleaning out your vehicles, drawers or the corners of your steps. I charged it up fully overnight and used it while cleaning up around the house. I used it for a decent amount of time and it didn’t die on me. The only complaint I have is there is no indicator that I found that showed me how much battery life is remaining. Fortunately, it’s so portable, you can carry the whole set room to room and just plug it in while you’re not using it. This is a great little vac, with some good power to it. Definitely give it a try.

We’ve come a long way from the first portable dustbusters, and the Shark ION is evidence of the progress in portability and efficiency! This very light and portable magic wand has POWERFUL suction and is push-button quick to empty and pick up where you left off. First portable I have used that will get the dust and pet hair off the ceiling fan blades without having to go back for several re-tries. Easy to empty (push-button), filters can be cleaned (no replacement cost), good battery life and quick to recharge. Can’t think of anything that would make this a better portable vacuum.

I like the little Shark Ion. It picks up. I have only used one hand vac before (as far as I can remember) and it picked up too, so I have nothing to compare. I mainly wanted this for my car and it picks up there too. I did not vacuum enough to fill up the container that holds the debris so even though it is small, I had no problems with the size. What I don't like is that I still have to use a napkin to get some lasting remnants of the debris out of the holding container. I still see something in there. Also, air blows out of the sides so depending on your angle, you may blow something away. And for a little hand vac, it is VERY loud geeeeez. What I like about it: the color (charcoal and black; or almost black); the shape (I like that it is skinny/slim); it charges with a charging stand AND the charging stand also hold the other 2 pieces; there is a blue light indicator to indicate everything you need to know (i.e., power, charging, low on power, blockage); simple power button that you can reach with the same hand that is holding it, somewhat; it has a switch that releases the container, thus letting out the debris out (you cannot get to this switch with the same hand that is holding it. It is right in front of the power button and a bit too far down}.

The Shark Ion handvac, is a powerful and versitile little machine. For years I’ve been searching for a handvac to clean the inside of my car, but nothing I found was powerful enough. Then I tried the Shark Ion, and to my surprise it worked really well. The Shark Ion has a very powerfull suction motor in it. It can pick up anything from small rocks, to pet hair. It includes 2 attachments that have their own usefulness. Once you have everything cleaned, the dust trap flings open with the push of a button. Which makes this very easy to empy and clean. The Shark Ion has a rechargeable battery built into it, so when not in use, simply place it on the charging cradle. This is nice, as it doesn’t take up much space and looks nice enough to show off. A full charge requires 2.5hrs, which is not bad at all. I’ve tried using the Shark Ion on multiple different locations, from my sofa, all the way to my car. I can honestly say, I haven’t found a single piece of trash it can’t suck up. This is a very powerful handvac! Overall, I would say I am very pleased with the Shark Ion Handvac. It’s as durable as it is powerful, which makes it very convenient. It cleans just about any space you can throw at it, and empying the filter is a sinch. I would definitely recommend this to anyone in the market for a handheld vacuum.

Just wow. This little dude is a powerhouse. We got it with the Shark ION as a package deal. It sucks, but in this case, that's a good thing. Very portable, decent battery life, and quick charging. I love this thing because it can go where Dustbusters, or others can't.

I have messy children, I have a lot of dirt out in front of my condo, and I have annoying corners in my house. This vacuum cleaner and takes care of all of that it's small it's light it's portable I'm definitely looking to invest in a second one. This thing is amazing and I love the design to boot.

it does what it's supposed to do. i got it so i can clean up after my kittens - it doesn't make a lot of noise so it doesn't scare them :) my only issues are that it seems to die quickly and the trash comes out if you hold it upside down when it's off

I bought this with a Christmas gift card. I choose the Shark Wandvac because of the recharging stand. I love how light and powerful it is .
