I bought this to scan photos from my mothers collection for her celebration of life. It was more than I initially intended to spend, but I can tell you that it scanned every photo in with great detail, and so quickly I’ve now offered to scan photos in for all of my family And then be able to save them and send them on so that everybody has copies. This was a great buy that I hope will offer some solutions for those times when you only have one photo but six different family members that would like a copy.

This scans in so quickly and adjusts the colors of older pictures back (or close enough) to the original color.

Was very impressed with the speed of scanning. Was able to down sizes physically photos and share older photos with other family members. My area charges $.5 per photo to scan so this saved quite a bit of money. the quality of the scan was good and impressed with the automatic correction.

a bit expensive but so far it works as planned. Just load multiple photos and sit back and watch it work its magic. Don't think there is a comparable product for ease of use and quality. Used to digitize old family photos. Now I need one for photo slides

The Epson FF-680W has been such a time saver. We’ve been able to scan 1000s of photos in a very short time compared to a tradition scanner. It also can autocorrect the pictures making them brighter and easier to look at. It also has provisions for older or more fragile photos or documents.

Bought this scanner for my wife who is in the process of scanning a boatload of documents for professional and archival purposes. Her previous scanner worked well but was slow to scan amd process documents. This one is much quicker and creates much cleaner images...it has helped tremendously in speeding up her workflow.

It's a bit pricey but it gets the job done. You have to make sure and remove any possible adhesive from the back of the photo. I recommend wiping down each photo with a lint free cloth before scanning. It will cut down on dust specks on your scanned image. If you have thousands of photos to scan, I recommend. I did about 200 photos already.

It was a surprise how small and compact this is. It doesn't take up much space on the work counter but does a good job scanning and saving hundreds of photos much more quickly than my flatbed scanner. Custominzing the file names was easy.

Excellent for convience and fast. Do not like the fact that each time your photos are processing when it gets to the last 4 in pile it jams. Tried everything to troubleshoot. Decided to do one by one when this happens since the photos are so important. Love how u can change the DPI before scanning for better quality!

This thing is fast! As far as it's main purpose as a photo scanner, it's crazy how fast it can scan things. For backing up large amounts of photos, the quality is great. It does have some connectivity issues that I haven't been able to figure out, but when it works it works well. Price is a little outrageous, but there really isn't anything else on the market like it.

It was easier to download the software than I expected. Although it took a little work to decide how to organize the photos as I printed them, the process of printing is easy. I like the option to see both the original and enhanced versions.

The scanner works better than expected. I scanned 427 photos in no time. I do wish it had a way to adjust the infeed wheels so you could scan old thick polaroids. If you don't put too many pictures in at a time it works great with few jams.

With over 600 unorganized photos I didn’t know where to begin to start to move them to digital form. After trying a few different apps I knew it would just take to long. This has saved me hours if not days of time. Very easy to use. The document scanner is absolutely fantastic!

Great product, canoe super fast, easy to use. I was really surprised at how fast it goes through scanning, certainly worth the price if you plan to pay someone else 50c per photo!
