So far I have scanned more documents than photos but I have a million photos that I will eventually be scanning. It scans quickly but one has to make sure that you remove the staples. That, is operator error and not the fault of the machine. Scan quality is pretty good and I've been happy with it. It has problems with scanning thick paper stock like greeting cards but photos have been no problem.

I bought this scanner to scan my old photo to digital file. Very easy to use and scan fast, I love it!

The product, Epson - FastFoto FF-680W Wireless High-speed Photo Scanning System - Black is the bomb. I love it. I couldn't ask for a better photo scanner that does exactly what I need it to do. I lost my hard drive back up that has all my pictures on it and this scanner is helping me get all my photos back to digital in 1/3 the time.

The photo printer that I purchased was very nice easy to set up and works great. I would recommend it to anyone that would ask me. easiest copier to use in the world for photocopying.

I bought this scanner to scan a wide variety of pictures taken from the 1940's until 2010. I'm very pleased with it. I had some trouble getting this scanner connected to my wifi I called Epson technical support. The service rep was very friendly and helped me get connected. I did not have any wait time when I called technical support. Very impressed! I recommend this product.

The scanner works extremely well. The only problem is the service pack that works differently in Apple products where it shows more limitations. If you install the scanning software in a Windows machine, make sure that you download the service pack that is for pictures and to download another service pack for documents. This way, your scanner will work like a pro.

Fast & good resolution. This scanner is really fast with good resolution. The installation instructions were kind of difficult to follow but we got it done!

Scanned older photos and updated images very well… used it for 20-50 year old photos. The speed at which it did it saved countless hours. It scanned documents well too :-)

Ultra fast, scans front and back at the same time. The software fixes the photos automatically, never had to adjust anything. It also scans documents, if you don't mind them saved as a photol

I purchased this unit after doing research on which is the best overall photo scanner. Many of my film pictures are old. It quickly scans them. The photo editing software is OK - there are better alternatives for those old pictures that need more enhancement. But if you have boxes and albums of pictures, this is a good system to scan quickly and preserve those memories.

I was amazed at how fast it scanned my pictures. I was able to do 100 pictures in 20 minutes. It took more time to set up where the pictures were going in the computer than the actual scanning. I also like that it detects if there is writing on the back of a picture and will scan it, but move on to the next picture if no writing. I am very happy with Fast Foto.

If you are looking for a great photo scanner…this is it! This scanner is so fast it is hard to keep up with. I had over 50 photo albums and in 3 days all photos were scanned and now digitized. I am so happy that I purchased this scanner and highly recommend it if you are looking to get rid of your photo albums and digitize your photos.
