Doesn't work for what I bought it for.

Such is not the case. It does put my hand in a different position than for most mice, but the cramping and hand pain I have had with other mice are still prevalent. The mouse functions fine but just not for what I had intended.

Decent mouse that is good for comfort

I wish the base wasn't so thick/tall and the buttons aren't as good as the rollerball MX Ergo, but its not a bad mouse if you need the ergonomics.

I have shoulder problems in my right arm from working at a computer. The vertical aspect of the mouse doesn't strain my shoulders as much while working. Unfortunately I left my first one at a work place and someone liked it so much they kept it. So I'm purchasing a second one for my home office.

However, this mouse is loud - clicking all day becomes a bit annoying due to the loudness of each click. Even the roller is loud. Additionally, after purchasing 2 of these mice, each one did not last much longer than 1 year, which I think is unacceptable at this price point.
