I got this mouse thinking it would be a great gaming mouse since you hold it vertical like a pen. Unfortunately, the dpi is too high (not adjustable) and the input lag is so severe. This is would be a great office mouse for work. It just doesn't meet my needs as a gamer. Also, it's expensive.

Hello, I am sorry if there was any confusion about this mouse. It is not meant for gaming. You can adjust the dpi settings on the mouse if you download the Logitech Options software. I hope this helps. Thank you for taking the time to write this review, we appreciate the feedback.

    Sub-optimal design and induced pain

I enjoy trying new mice and am a fan of many Logitech products. As such, I was very eager to try their new vertical ergonomic mouse. In the end I was highly disappointed. The mouse is decent to hold. . .but if you run out of desk space and need to pick up the mouse to move it back, it is a bit difficult to do on this one as there isn't much to grip to lift straight up. That, I could probably live with if the mouse was amazing in other ways. Unfortunately, due to my set up, using this mouse with my right hand caused my wrist being pressed against the desk which resulted in a pretty severe pain after just a day or two. I stopped using the mouse and the pain went away. For my arm angle and desk set up this mouse did not work for me at all. It's also rather expensive for what it does and has a limited number of mouse buttons.

Works really well, especially if you have larger hands. I used the horizontal MXs and while the vertical doesn’t have as many features it certainly is a nicer feel.

I love this mouse but the left click stopped working 2 months outside of the warranty. Hard to justify spending $100 on a mouse that only works for a year. Anker's $20 vertical mouse offers a similar build quality for a fraction of the price.

It’s a great mouse but it didn’t work for me. My wrist being pressed against the desk resulted in a pretty severe pain after a full day of using it. I went back to my old Mx Master which is still, in my opinion, one of the best mouses ever built by Logitech.

This is my 3rd ergonomic mouse. At the $20 price point, I have found reliable products. I went with this one for the Logitech name and the ability to have multiple channels for different devices. It does the trick, solid construction as usual with Logitech, can tell it will last a long time. 1 star off for the high price.

Very comfortable design, I was able to adapt to it quite quickly. One grumble I have on most recent Logitech mice is the input switch function is only on the bottom and you can't remap the DPI selection button on top to anything else. For me it would be better if I could swap them, but that doesn't seem to be in Logitech's plans. (The software Easy Switch functionality doesn't work for my use case) Also the wireless function turns off if you plug it in to your computer. Kind of a glaring oversight for people using this mouse for more than one computer.

It is very comfortable for me, but I can understand if the mouse is too big for people with smaller hands I was previously using a MX Master and this MX Vertical reduces the tension on my wrist. It is a very good mouse, but it would have been nice to have an additional button under the thumb like the MX Master

I had the best intentions with this device. It is hard to get used to the vertical position of the hand. Does not allow similar flexibility in hand movement when compared wit MX. It is one step lower than the MX in quality in terms of scrolling, plastic.

Hi Andreas, thank you for your feedback! The MX Vertical is my personal favorite, although it did take me a few days to come around to it. MX Vertical’s natural handshake position reduces muscular strain by 10 percent and promotes a more ergonomic posture. MX Vertical’s unique 57° vertical angle reduces the pressure on your wrist, while your thumb is positioned comfortably on the thumb rest. - Will, Logitech.

I wanted to love this mouse. After dealing with the pain and discomfort of tennis elbow from overuse at the pc, I purchased the ergo mouse, thinking it would help. It actually made pain worse. I would recommend this to anyone whose pc use is moderate, but not if you’re working at your desk for hours a day.

I was skeptical at first but willing to try. I need a mouse that's super comfortable because I work with graphic software every day. I was willing to try it and did it for a week but don't think this is the right mouse for me. Cool shape though

I am always on my computer for work so I needed a mouse that would be helpful in preventing carpal tunnel. This mouse is really good! It's also convenient that aside from the universal receiver, it has bluetooth capability. I would recommend this to anyone!
