    This works as expected. I like the outer design of the prior generation more. This had a fabric around the speaker and any dust, when wiped, looks awful.

    The 3rd generation Echo Dot sounds really good. As a matter of fact if it was able to delivery better bass you wouldn't need anything else. My only complaint is the switched the plug to a barrel adapter instead of USB which means I can't use it in my car like I used my 2nd Gen Dot.
