    The Dot is great for an alarm clock you can set with your voice. If you want something to play music on go for the full Echo or make sure you have some speakers to connect to.

    My whole home is Alexa integrated and I'll have to say the 3rd gen dot is way better than the 2nd! The speaker is tons better and you don't have to be ride over top of this one for Alexa to understand your command. I highly recommend these!!

    I finally agreed to submit to our Robot Overlords, and I have yet to be disappointed. The clock dims to barely visible when the lights are out, so it's not shining in your face. You can adjust the volume, and it's got great speakers.

    I bought this to replace my nightstand clock. This is great. I have it set to wake me in the weekdays only at a certain time. The numbers are very readable in bright or low light. Package that with all the functionality of Alexa and it’s a great combination. Could be a few bucks cheaper, but I was in the market for a new clock and wanted to give it a go. Nice job Amazon!
