    Got it on sale for Black Friday. Love it! I've owned the Original echo dot since it first came it out and this one is so much better! The clock lighting dims lower and higher with the surrounding light so when all the lights are off it dims lower so its not too bright and I can sleep. I love it!

    It's an alexa speaker .. it sounds good .. oddly Amazon thinks that if you are using the built in clock display that you will never want to HEAR the time .. ask Alexa the time on this model and you start to hear her speak and she stops EVERY TIME .. you have to say "turn off clock" before the device will speak the time .. that's my beef with this guy .. TELL ME THE TIME when I ask for it .. I'm not in the same room sometimes so I cant always SEE the device .. otherwise .. dope!

    My daughter likes her device, but sometimes it plays songs she didn’t ask for. This device is also louder than my device.

    I have 2 other Echo dots in the kitchen and bedroom but this one in the living room is my favorite as it displays the time. It seems to be more responsive than my other 2 as well. Of course all the Echo Dots are wonderful but I didn't really realize how nice it is with the time displayed.

    You will have to occasionally fight alexa with which song you wanted, however, it is really handy besides that
