I am not a Alexa person, more of a Google person, but this Echo is pretty cool. I love how it works with my Fire TV. I 8 year son uses the Echo with the TV all the time.

Disclaimer. This product was a freebie as part of another purchase. That said, I already own several google home and chromecast devices so this is a one-off Amazon device on my network. I'm pretty pleased with the device as a whole and it is similar enough to my other smart speakers that the adaptation wasn't difficult. It seems to perform all the basic functions just fine such as controlling lights, setting alarms, and playing music. It's a nice device overall.

Was an Add on to a tv purchasde. we now have a dot in every room. great for getting ready in the morning listening to radio, weather check or time check. Also use the alarm or timer function often

loved this buy one get one free it was a real bargain i picked another two up on amazon for 10 each before christmas i love them but watch what you say and turn off the features for development that sends your recordings to who knows

It's a good little speaker with extra functionality. I haven’t fully utilized its full potential yet, like ordering things for me on amazon but it's there if I need it.

I purchased this for my daughter to use in her college dorm room. She absolutely loves the fact that it connects with her Roku T.V, it gives her the sound she needs and the ability to talk to Alexa.

Bought my husband the bigger one for his shop. I like the way it sounds so I bought the Echo Dot for the house, sounds just as good as the bigger one. Actually bought my mom an Echo Dot for her house too. She says it sounds as good as her big stereo and speakers

Great little speaker to access fly Amazon music. Love that it tells me the time and the weather and I can connect to my Amazon account.

Second verse, same as the first… no hassle setup and use. Love to tell Alexa to play an entire album; sometimes just one song. This is my second dot, and I may need a third!

Gave as gift for aging parents for Christmas. Love that they can use Alexa to help perform daily tasks and call grand kids when they want to chat or facetime with Echo Show. Mother-in-law used to call when she fell and fractured her neck earlier in December, what a life saver!

Sound and build quality are great and integrates well with my Nest thermostats. Gave it 4 stars because there isn’t an easy way to ask Alexa to play from your music collection. All of my music is on google music and Amazon no longer allows you to upload your own music to its cloud. It also cannot access Google music. Unless you pair your phone with it, I couldn’t find a simple way to ask Alexa to play a particular song in your collection.

Love the Echo Dot. I've pnly had it fur a short while but, it's perfect. My Grands enjoy telling Alexa what to do. It's also grat with Amazon. It will tell you where your packages are.

A great device This is my third Alexa echo dot It’s awesome to play all of them at the same time I do own a total of 7 Alexa devices around the house,including one portable speaker for the Alexa echo dot 2nd generation I really love them all!!!

So fun to use! It was easy to set up and easy to use. I forgot to bring it in from the deck after a party. It rained that night. I thought I had ruined it. But it still works! I love this! Real quality!

I have several of these around my house to access my various connected devices, primarily lights. If you are an audiophile, the speaker quality might leave something to be desired, but for everyday use in controlling connected devices and playing music and news - they work very well.

Great price and sound it does.not follow you around like the one with screen's there a wast of money unless your trying to keep up with the jones family.

The Amazon Dot Echo we purchased has been AMAZING!!! We are totally happy with the purchase and only wished we had done it sooner. Alexa is light years ahead of Siri in intelligence and ease of operation and the number of things "she" can help with is fantastic. Great purchase

These are a fantastic addition to our home. We have bought these for each bedroom (4), our family room and home office. Excellent sound quality and ties in well with our SIRIUS channel. We purchased the larger tower for our family room.

I have a few 2nd gen Dots which don't sound good enough to listen to music. I use them just to get voice control functionality in some extra rooms. This 3rd gen Dot sounds much better, so I'll be moving it to a room where I might sit and listen to music.

Now a days, who doesn’t have an Alexa, they have been awesome since I got one years ago. Can listen to music, call people, ask it anything, it’s a cool FBI device
