Received the 3rd generation Echo Dot as a freebie when getting the Nest doorbell. I am already a big fan of the Echo products. This is the first 3rd generation Dot and find it a bit more attractive but the sound is much better than the earlier models.

This is one of the nice product from Amazon. We play lot of songs and no issues so far

Great buy. Easy to set up and use. Even the grandkids use it. Received a nice bonus bulb with this purchase. The only thing is when WiFi is down. It’s down to. But otherwise would purchase again. Great as gifts.

I love my echo! My daughter bought it for a present and I have it in my bathroom. Nice to listen to music when showering and it has a great sound!

This is the best Echo Dot yet. Great sound quality. We don’t use ours for music, so we don’t need it to fill the room, but for a kitchen Echo, it’s perfect. Better yet, if you can get it free like we did with the purchase of one of many things, it’s even better.

The sound quality of the speaker in this gen3 model is much better than my echo dot gen2 that I have. I like how this looks with the fabric sides. It is larger and heavier than the gen2 model (probably because of a larger speaker inside). It comes with a large power adapter and the connector is no longer micro usb but a circular plug similar to the audio connector. So no longer able to use this in the car like with gen2 (if you wanted to do that) because of the different connector and larger power adapter needed.

It was a Christmas gift and my Uncle loved it now he can play his music in his room and fall asleep to the rain easy to program and easy set up so if you know someone that loves music new and entertainment it's a good buy

Bought these for kid's Christmas presents. They're in their rooms, working great and they are enjoying them. They use them every night to sleep with, using lullaby or soft music. They also like talking to Alexa. Asking v as Rios questions from time to time.

This was a free gift with another purchase. We have had more fun than expected playing Alexa’s games, trivia, listening to stories, ambient sounds. We can ask questions like one would ask Siri. And the vast expanse of free music is more than expected. Great gift!

I use this product everyday and I love it. I would absolutely buy again.

Love love love my echo dots. I have various and they are so convenient. I can ask for the weather or to turn lights on & off. I ask for info and my kids ask questions for help with school, or to find music. Love love love!

The Amazon echo dot is a really great smart speaker. I have 3 of them so far throughout my house along with 2 Homepods. The echo dots are good for a bedroom and areas like that. The bigger speakers will be wanted in areas like your living room.

I have one in almost every room for music. I have 2 in the living room and tether them to both play at the same time and it sounds pretty decent.

Full disclosure - My home is a google smart home, but this item came free as a bonus from another purchase over the holidays. I wanted to try it out just to check the differences between my google home minis. My only complaint is that I wished all of the smart home companies worked together and were all user friendly with one another...oh well...maybe someday in the future we can all learn to get along : )

This is my second echo dot in the house. Love them both! You can link them to your ring doorbell, and any music apps. You can also drop in on another Alexa from your echo dot or your cellphone which is great. Easy set up as well.

Bought this Alexa for my daughter for Christmas. She enjoys music and I figured she’d love it compared to using YouTube to listen to music. We have the Show and I can communicate with her through the Alexas if need be.

Amazon's third-generation Echo Dot ($49) looks good and sounds great. With vastly improved audio, it's now a distinctly better smart speaker than the Google Home Mini, and can replace the larger $99 Echo for less picky folks.
