I got this echo dot for free with the purchase of another item, and I am so happy I did. I love how easy it is to use. My son gets a kick asking it for jokes. I love being able to play my favorite artists at any given moment. Win win.

Love this! I use it in my salon and it is great! I finally set it up to my phone ans when I travel to clients, I can bring it along now! This is so great!

This thing is amazing. I now can turn off my light from bed. My 2yr old nephew loves telling Alexa to play the songs wheels on the bus & head, shoulders, knees, and toes. Music sounds great and it can hear me from across the room.

My son is always scare of the dark and he is always asking us to turn the lights on, Sometimes we are not always close to his room to help him. Now, he loves the fact that he can ask Alexa to turn the lights for him!

Google home has a top facing Sound vent, while this has sidewards. I actually use this as a speaker most of the time to play songs. I used to mount Google Home on a wall next to the socket and it gives good sound, while Echo spreads sound along the plane of the wall. So this has to be placed on a horizontal surface for max sound output. Apart from that, it works good.

We have several Dots, two Fire cubes, a Show and a Stick. They all work pretty well most of the time but they do glitch sometimes. However, we do have one "idiot dot" as we call it. That one has issues finding some of our WEMO devices. It will control most of them, but for some reason it can't find certain WEMOs, even though all the other fire devices can.

The Echo Dot is great for listening to music or audio books. It’s also an easy way to check the weather or Amazon deliveries

I had the echo dot 2. I was satisfied with the performance of the device. Alexa heard me commands whether I was close or far away. I was very disappointed with the sound, however, this new device sounds so good. It's like night and day.

Got this for my niece for college. Great device for a college student to have. Works as a an alarm clock, radio, calendar, reminders and access to a lot of information available on the web without actually having to use your computer.

Excellent product. The speaker alone is worth it. We mainly use it for music, but it apparently has many other features we will explore. For the price a steal.

The setup was a bit tedious through the app and it's not as loud as I hoped, but it is PERFECT for a little Alexa on your nightstand. Great for alarms, listening to books in bed, etc. I got it for $25, you can't beat it!

I love my Alexa. I have mine connected to my fire TV and I enjoy using the Alexa for temperature and time and I also love playing my music on it.

Love the echo dots wasn’t sure if I wanted to buy this because of all the privacy concerns with amazon product but took a chance on it and it works as it should good sound very easy to connect

I have these in both of my children’s room and they love them. My favorite feature is the drop in which makes it like an intercom so I can talk to the children when they are in their bedrooms.

I added a third echo to my home to add to my house to expand my smart capabilities. It integrated easily. I am very happy with my purchase

The Alexa Echo is a great speaker! I play music on it all of the time and have no complaints. Also love that Alexa does about a million other things like trivia games which my whole family loves!

Works well, I am able to customize the voice and was able to change the name from pre-chosen names to activate it. Just wish you could name it anything rather than picking from about 4 pre-selected names but I guess its to avoid calling it anything inappropriate but that should be the choice of the owner.
