I love Alexa. She tells me when my packages have been delivered, plays the music I request, and tells me what the weather is outside. It is like having my own personal assistant. She even tells me corny jokes.

I really like the Echo Dot. Love being hands free and having Alexa play my favorite tunes or other tasks when I’m doing other things.

Ha, these are more then a hockey puck, they are a blast of sound with a very smart interface. Great for backyard entertaining as well as indoors (though it is not water proof, it can be hooked up to outdoor speakers.

I really like the Alexa dot products. The speaker is definitely an upgrade from the previous version!

This review is not so much about the Dot because there are thousands of those to filter through. Clearly Amazon is phasing this version out because you’re limited to one color and no option for the one with the clock. That being said Amazon is offering this dot with a lightbulb on their site for the same price but with quite a delay in delivery. But not to be outdone Best Buy is offering the same deal plus 4 months Sirius XM! And you can pickup in 1 hour! How can you pass that up? You can’t. So if you’re in the market for one, buy now before they’re all gone! $19.99 plus free bulb and Sirius XM.

Love it!! Just the reminders alone and the ability to say "turn off the light" made it all worth it for me

Big and noticeable difference between the second gen and these. Third gen has much better sound quality, louder and deeper sound. I prefer the look of the second gen, but we got these to hear not to look at - so gen 3 all the way.

This little dot was the precursor to my smart home obsession. After experiencing all this little dot could do, I went and bought all kinds of smart home Alexa products! beware, if you buy this.... you will become addicted like me!

Got for Christmas, the sound is great. Much louder than our previous generations.

I have several echo devices, including some first gen dots. This one works very well, can hear you clearly and sounds better than first gen. Price was great also, $18 during their 1 Day sale.

Have hooked a Fire TV, smart lights up to device. Grandson loves it that he can control his whole room by just saying a few words. Can also set timers, alarms, notifications. Endless possibilities.

What can I say? It's a dot and it works fantastically. No issues, easy set up. If you have issues with one of these, you should probably go back to reading by candlelight because it is just that simple to use.

I had already purchased an older generation previously and really enjoyed it. I connected it to all my smart devices and it works just great. So when I got this one free with my Ring Alarm system I was overjoyed!

I have to say I was skeptical. I didn't see the need. This little baby has been phenomenal. My kids have broken 4-5 alarm clocks. They also messed up the AM & PM so that their alarms would not go off at the proper time. So this was going to be a glorified alarm clock. It has become so much more. The kids have Friday night jam sessions. The drop in feature is great when I'm in the basement and they are in their room. I have grown to love the echo dot.

I purchased this for my 2 year old because she fell in love with it at her grandmas house. It was a good decision because Alexa understands what my daughter wants to listen to and plays were favorite songs.

Great little speaker with a big sound. Connects to the internet and answers your questions. Pair them up for stereo sound.

Love them. We own 2 and I have bought 3 more for Christmas gifts. I use them for an alarm clock, timer, medication reminders and so much more. One of the best purchases I have ever made.

Bought a second echo dot for upstairs. I leave for work early in the morning and it’s nice to have a light on before I come down. It also made it much easier to control the Christmas lights.
